The SBE-UIET Mobile Quiz is now on Android!

Mobile Quiz 2016 will run for 15 days, with every participant being required to answer one question a day, delivered to your mobile phones at 9 am every morning.

Out of the three categories, Biotechnology & Advance Science will carry a registration fee of Rs.20/- & the Aptitude category will cost Rs.20. The three will be evaluated independently.

The questions shall be MCQs with four options, out of which only one will be correct for all questions. Also, the first day will be a test day and the questions answered on that day will not be scored.

When you register in the app and submit the form with your phone number, the app will recognize the categories you registered and paid for and will make only those categories available to you. The aptitude category will be available to everyone who downloads the app.

You can use any medium to search for answers. Ask your teachers, discuss amongst friends, surf the internet or read a book. The quiz is aimed at imparting knowledge to the participants and will contain questions designed in a way to allow our participants to learn new things.

For each category, there will be three different difficulty levels for questions: Easy, Medium & Hard. All three will have different maximum marks e.g. Hard (7 points), Medium (5 points) & Easy (3 points).

The grading system is based on when you answer a particular question:

• 9 am – 1 pm: maximum score

• 1 pm – 5 pm: medium score

• 5 pm – 9 pm: minimum score

• After 9 pm: no score

E.g. If an easy question carries 3 maximum marks, you will get:

• 3 points if you answer between 9 am & 1 pm

• 2 points if answer between 1 pm & 5 pm

• 1 point if you answer between 5 pm & 9 pm

• 0 points if you answer after 9 pm

If you answer the questions for 5 consecutive days, correctly or incorrectly, for a particular category, you will get extra points for consistency.

E.g. If you miss the first question and answer consistently till the 6th day, correctly or incorrectly, you will receive 3 extra points.

At the end of 15 days, the ones with maximum points in each of the categories shall be declared as the winners. We will have cash prizes for the 1st & 2nd place holders of each category and other awards for those who finish in the top 10, with the top 10 of each category being awarded certificates of appreciation.
