SkyTOP’s Industrial Condition Monitoring software is a predictive maintenance system/ Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
The System monitors the current condition of an asset and decides what maintenance needs is required.
CBM dictates that maintenance should only be performed when certain indicators show signs of decreasing performance or upcoming failure.
It allows the maintenance engineer to assess the situation without interrupting the means of production.
CBM allows preventive and corrective actions to be scheduled at the optimal time. This works to reduce the total cost of ownership.
