Friday music Funkin 'is a rhythm game in which the player has to spend several "weeks", each of which contains three songs. Every week he has a rival with whom the player must compete, with a few exceptions.

During the game, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes, which the player must turn over by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. There is a bar at the bottom of the screen showing how well the player is playing. The left side of the red bar represents the enemy. The right green color represents the player. Pressing notes successfully increases the player's streak, while losing notes increases the opponent's streak. A player is defeated if the opponent's strip fills the entire strip.
