Gyan Punja Boarding School (GPBS) is a private boarding school based in the core part of Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu, the birth place of the Buddha. Established in 2053 BS with the aim of providing quality education, the school has been run by a highly motivated team of renowned educationists, well qualified and experienced teachers and social workers. The main motto of the school is "Education of educational excellence and character formation". GPBS believes that the inherent talents of the students can be fostered through collaborative efforts, creating conducive learning atmosphere inside and outside the school. The school creates a broad and balanced atmosphere recognizing the unique needs of the students for imparting value based education to meet the requirements of the modern age. Rather than emphasizing on bookish knowledge, enough space is given for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities as an integral part of learning. GPBS has been a brand name in the school level education in Kapilvastu with its outstanding results in SEE. Currently, the school is heading towards the journey of International School Awards (ISA) to enhance quality in education and extend international collaboration.
