Al-Tabarani included in Al-Awsat, Al-Hakim, and his authenticity, Ibn Mardawayh, Al-Bayhaqi, and Al-Diya’, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf, he will have a light from his station to Mecca, and whoever recites ten verses from the last of them.” Then the Dajjal came out, and it did not harm him.”

Al-Hakim included, and authenticated it, from the hadith of Abu Saeed that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, it will be illuminated for him by light between the two Fridays.” Al-Bayhaqi also included it in the Sunan from this route, and from another route.

Ibn Mardawayh, on the authority of Ibn Umar, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him from under his feet to the clouds of the sky, it will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven for what is between the two Fridays.”

Ibn Mardawayh narrated that Aisha said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Shall I not tell you of a surah whose greatness is between heaven and earth, and whose writer will have a reward similar to that, and whoever recites it on Friday will be forgiven for what is between him and the other Friday, and an additional three days, and from He recited the last five of them when he slept, God sent him from which night he wanted? They said: Yes - O Messenger of God - He said: Surah the Companions of the Cave.

Ibn Mardawayh narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The house in which Surah Al-Kahf is read, no devil will enter it that night.”
