Ume is virtual sensory overlap experience that attempts to answer those questions and much much more.

How does it work?

Designed to be used in conjunction with a mobile phone and a virtual reality head set – such as the Google cardboard – Ume finds and connects users via their geo­location and search tags, overlapping their visual and auditory streams to create a body­ swap like experience – it swaps the stream of your visual feed, your point of view, with that of someone else, and vise versa.

It lets you teleport into someone else’s head. Whether you are in the same room or on the other- side of the world. Exchange points of view. Embody each other ­ two people essentially becoming one.
