VoIP app based on standard protocols (SIP) and with real-time quality adaptation

Voice over IP application based on SIP and other standard protocols, extending the Android API. As a result it is compatible with other VoIP phones, even from different operating systems.

The app includes a real-time adaptation of quality, it monitors the network and selects the codec that maximizes the quality of user experience, according to the monitored and estimated network conditions. Using SIP for signaling, it negotiates the codec switching during the call.

Its performance has been evaluated and compared in terms of user experience quality.
