The endless, unsuccessful phone calls you make when you have to complain either about the garbage in the adjacent land plot or the suspicious result of a public examination are undoubtedly frustrating. Also, if you have not made such attempts at registering complaints or seeking information from the government, either because you are unaware of the process or do not generally experience any such difficulty, you may still need to pick up the phone when your colony has erratic water supply or when the live India vs Pakistan match is interrupted by nasty power cuts. But do not worry. We are here to make things easier for you.

GRRED lists all the credible contacts of the Rajasthan Government’s Water Department, Electricity Department, Right to Information Commission, Helpline for Women, Consumer Forums and Municipal Corporations. It also shortlists some Non Governmental Organisations and animal care organisations you may seek help from, volunteer at and donate to. All the government contacts provided are from dispersed departments and associated offices. We have picked out the ones which are authentic, promise swift action and answer your queries politely. To avoid the painstaking task of reading elaborate procedures, the app has explanatory videos.

For convenience, GRRED has a direct dialling feature for the most effective helpline numbers. It also has a “Let Your Friends Know” button. This screenshots the window and allows you to share it with others who need the same information, via multiple platforms.
