Grow and Sell

The Grow and Sell app is part of the Waitrose school-to-supermarket scheme.

The Grow and Sell app is brought to you by Waitrose and Seed Pantry. It works with the Grow and Sell Seed Kit and it’s for use by 7 to 11 year-olds at school or at home, with teachers or parents, as part of the Waitrose school-to-supermarket scheme. The app shows you everything you need to know to grow veg yourself, and how to sell it at your nearest Waitrose store. Eating your own-grown crops is also allowed!

The app allows you to set a special crop timer for each of the six different sorts of plant you can grow and to re-set the timer every time you plant new seeds. The crop timer reminds you what to do when and when your plants will be ready to harvest and sell. You can receive reminders for all the important stuff in between and use the Q and A for any tricky questions.

Teachers are recommended to use the iPad version as a teaching aid.
