Great App. I have used all of the map apps in my search for finding the perfect one. The big names in the field have gotten far to bloated, use way to much battery/resources and in the attempt to control all content and for some reason thinking their apps simply MUST integrate with everything, the "major players" have become way, WAY to intrusive to the point of losing sight on the basic purpose in the first place.
Offline Maps and Navigation is a throwback in that regard although don't confuse that term throwback meaning it is technologically inferior or dated.
The extras/features on this thing are as advanced as any and they actually are App appropriate rather than adding features which are unnecessary and bog **** down on your device.
I LOVE the look as well. The design is just what I was looking for and the PiP of correct lanes has saved me several times in crazy Interstate exchanges etc.
Obviously I am highly impressed with this app and the developers and no, I don't know them, never talked to them, have nothing to do with this app or developers. Thus is just my own independent review based upon years of GPS/maps usage and trying most of them. And of course, the 3 or 4 months of having this app.
This app is right up there in terms of impressing me greatly as much as Waze was when it first came out before Google bought it.
One suggestion that I might add. On the destination accuracy maybe show more definitively what side of the street the place is on. Or show it in drive definitively a bit earlier? Perhaps it is and I didn't properly have it configured.
Again folks, bravo. Keep it up but keep on keepin it lean!
