Girgaon Dhwajapathak, fondly known as GDP was formed in 2005 with an initiative to grow the Maharashtrian culture & to row the Hindu flags for years to come. GDP is the 1st Dhol - Tasha and Dhwajapathak in Mumbai.

GDP has been continuously performing with the traditional instruments like Dhol, Tasha etc. It is managed by highly educated youngsters and now GDP carries strong force of 500+ members.

GDP has introduced many new rhythms and special rhythmic presentations for the processions like Welcoming Procession of Hindu New Year on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa as well as during festivals.

This is an honest attempt to revive the attitude of youngsters and channelize their strength towards positive things. This application is to get the members, well-wishers, guests closer and keep all of us intact about GDP’s on going events and future performances and activities.
