About FreeUp
Review storage, large files, and photo candidates before you choose to delete.
FreeUp helps you understand what is using storage on your Android phone, so you can decide what to keep.
Review your device storage, then look through large photos and videos, files you select yourself, and photo candidates such as duplicates, screenshots, low-detail images, and visually similar images. Candidates are suggestions only: FreeUp never selects or deletes files automatically.
What you can do
• See available and used device storage.
• Browse accessible photos and videos by category, type, and size.
• Find large files and review them in size order.
• Select documents from the Android system file picker. Selected documents remain available only while the app is open.
• Review photo candidates before selecting anything. Similarity and low-detail results can be wrong, so check originals first.
• Review recent app-use records when Android makes them available. A missing record does not prove that an app is unused.
You stay in control
• Media deletion always uses Android's system confirmation.
• Documents can be deleted only when you selected them and the provider allows deletion.
• Read-only files can be previewed but cannot be selected for deletion.
Privacy
File analysis is performed on your device. FreeUp does not add file names, paths, file sizes, analysis results, or installed-app lists to its custom Analytics events or Crashlytics logs. The app uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for app-use statistics and crash diagnostics; those SDKs collect their own service data. FreeUp has no ads and does not use advertising ID or ad personalization.
Photos and videos are accessed only after you grant Android permission. App-use access is optional and is used only to display available recent-use information on your device.
