WordFinder is a web-based dictionary service, with monthly and yearly subscriptions to your dictionaries. The Android app is a free client to your WordFinder subscription.

Do you want access to millions of words, phrases, special expressions and specialist terms direct from your mobile? Lots of quality dictionaries all in one place? Then WordFinder is just right for you!

Great freedom of choice – at WordFinder you can choose from 10 languages and more than 20 complete language packages, from S to XL, where XL contains all 14 dictionaries. It is also possible to add further dictionaries. The dictionaries come from leading publishers such as Norstedts, HarperCollins, Far Akademi and Larousse.

Important:

The app only works online, which means you need to log in to your WordFinder account. You log in using the same login details as for WordFinder. You only do this the first time you use the app; after this you are logged in automatically. If you have changed the username and/or password for your WordFinder account, you must also do the same for the app. You do this under Settings.

How WordFinder works on your mobile

Enter the word you wish to translate or look up and tap on the magnifying glass to start the search among headwords. Once the search is finished, in the index window, tap on the word for which you want a more detailed explanation.

To access the Dictionary menu and see all the dictionaries you subscribe to, tap on the dictionaries icon in the bottom right of the screen.

If you want to search in the opposite language direction, tap on the icon with the flags in the bottom left of the screen.
