Pocket Local connects you to the right local, in your own language, in real time. Get the help, suggestions and translation you need before you travel or right in the middle of your travel nightmare. Save your favourite locals for later and communicate using text chat, voice recording, video conferencing and file sharing. It’s literally a local in your pocket.

Creating a request using Pocket Local is easy—here’s how it works:

- Just open the app and create a request telling our locals what you need assistance with.

- Your request will be sent out to our network of locals who will accept your request.

- Once accepted, you can chat with our locals using chat, voice, video and more.

- When your request is completed simply finish the chat.

- After the request, you can rate your local and add them to your favourites for later.

**For Locals**

Pocket Local is a fun way to make a little extra money in your spare time. Assist travellers with their requests and be paid for doing so. Simply sign up, wait to be approved and then you are ready to start helping our travellers.
