Professional C ++ - Course of the University of Hagen

The course provides an introduction to object-oriented programming language C ++. It is based on the official standard ISO / IEC 14882 to 1998. Knowledge of the C programming language are not within the scope of the course required, but can greatly facilitate the learning of C ++.

The aim of the course is to give you an overview of the structure of the C ++ programming language and to train the extent that you are able to write their own larger programs themselves. The C ++ - course includes to numerous exercises and appropriate at the end of each chapter questions for self-control. The treated sample programs are selected so that the concepts and benefits of object-oriented programming are visible. To process these program examples and to practice the language elements has its own C ++ - Compiler essential. Compiler settled - hence the price of the GNU C ++ was.

Part 1:

After a general introduction to C and C ++, the built-in data types, storage classes, operators, expressions, statements, pointer, fields and functions are handled, with special emphasis on the extensions of C ++.

the standard object-oriented library for input and output, developing its own input and output functions, structured exception handling and some additional language elements of the ISO C ++ are - discussed standards.
