In addition to you giving details about your car and driving history, we think driving behaviour – how, when and where you drive - is vital in determining a fair car insurance premium.

So, how does it work?

Try: The app is free to download.

Drive: Use the app to monitor your driving. We’ll give you a personalised driving score which takes into account your driving behaviour and give you feedback on how you could improve your driving. You must use the app to monitor your driving, but don’t worry our autostart feature means you don’t have to remember to do this.

Save: As a safe driver you may be able to get a discount on your insurance premium, on top of any no claims bonus. After 3, 6 and 9 months we will adjust your premium to reflect how safe your driving has been.

Optimum accuracy

The precision of the GPS signal on your phone can be affected by a number of things. For the best results and to make sure we give you an accurate score on your driving we recommend that you place your phone in a cradle or in a stable position on your dashboard, somewhere that will not distract you from concentrating on your driving. Remember using your phone whilst driving is an illegal offence.

Battery usage

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Remember to charge your phone before starting out on a journey or consider using an in-car charger.
