The Good Goodbye

The Good Goodbye is designed to prompt conversation about dying, death and bereavement, issues that will affect 100% of the population. We often face cultural taboos around these topics which prevent us from talking to our family and friends about the things that will be really important to us later in life. The Good Goodbye will pose a series of questions to prompt the discussion. Talking about these issues need not be depressing, in fact,​ it very often reduces anxiety and frees up our thinking to focus on living life to the full.

There are no time limits for each of the questions because it is important that each participant has the opportunity to contribute to the conversation.

Questions can be answered at random or within themes, Living Life to the Full, Planning Ahead, Being Cared For, Dying Well, and After Death. Where a participant finds a question particularly thought provoking it can be saved to an envelope which will be forwarded to them at the end of the game.
