May is the Month of Mary for Catholics. Traditionally, the May has been dedicated to the Celebration and devotions of Mary, Jesus’ Mother. Throughout the history of the Church, various Popes have instituted and expanded the celebrations dedicated to Mary this month including laying of flowers and crowning of statues.

This app is designed as a 31 day devotional to last the entire month of May dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Each day has a different prayer or task that hopefully can bring us all closer to Jesus.

I found this devotional while reading the Catholic Handbook of Prayers and decided to turn it into an app in honor of Mary as my way of giving back to her and the Church.

The task and prayers came directly from the Catholic Handbook of Prayers and range from extra rosary mysteries, a few more Hail Mary's, or abstaining from complaining. It is a fascinating and different way to honor Mary.
