Data Logger

Data Logger is designed to work with specifically designated Bluetooth LE devices. This application can connect to a compatible Bluetooth device to perform live monitoring and recording of multiple signals transmitted by the sensor.

Any live signal can be recorded and reviewed at a later time. Recordings can be exported and re-imported back on a different device, or can be opened on the desktop in Excel.

Data Logger can run and record signal values in the background, in which case you will see a notification icon in your notification bar.

Permissions:

BLUETOOTH - Needed to communicate with the data logging device using Bluetooth connection.

BLUETOOTH_ADMIN - Needed to search nearby Bluetooth devices in order to initiate pairing with the data logging device.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - Needed for importing/exporting the data recordings from/to a CSV file.

VIBRATE - Needed for initiating the vibration alert when specified in the "Alert Type" section of the settings screen.
