Screenstash is an Android app designed to let you take screenshots rapidly and easily, while using your smartphone.

It is conceived for when you have to take several screenshots at once and it helps you to organize your screenshots in the external memory.

It is useful if you are doing a research about a topic, if are travelling abroad and need some infos even without an internet connection, if you are a designer studying the UI of an app and so on.

It features a floating button to let you continue to use your smartphone while taking the screenshots and you can take a cropped screenshot.

This is an initial release, more features will be on their way!

It is only for Android Lollipop (5.0) onward because I use the new API for screen capturing and sharing. As such, no root is needed.

It is ads supported.

I use mixpanel for analytics but you can choose to disable it in the preferences.

Here are the required permissions:

Draw the floating button:

"android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW"

Save and load images:

"android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"

"android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"

Used to signal events to the user. For example when she long press on an image to multiple select more than one images.

"android.permission.VIBRATE"

Required for admob ads and mixpanel analytics:

"android.permission.INTERNET"

"android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"
