Phonaza Notifier D8840 app works with the D8840 module interface or the D LTE module interface, available at phonaza.com, the D8840 app controls 16 inputs that can be independently armed and disarmed. 8 inputs are digital and 8 are analog. Each input can operate any or all of the 4 relays when triggered. Programmable time settings allow setting delays, relay on time, time to re-enable, and number of times to re-enable. Also each input has three arm types( AWAY, STAY, and INSTANT) these entry and exit delays are independently programmable for each input and arm type.

One of the best uses of this device is for your alarm system notification. This device works with your current alarm system, or without it, and is easy to install. When your alarm system is triggered the Notifier D8840 will text a programmable message by cell phone to 4 other phone numbers, each of the 4 messages can be unique. All 16 inputs can be used with different phone contacts and unique messages. (Examples - Your phone gets this text = "House alarm !", while your son gets this text = "Dads House Alarm!", other uses may send these texts = "Gun Safe Opened!", "Bedroom Door Opened!", "Alarm Chevy Van!", "Motor home Alarm!", etc). THIS UNIT DOES NOT CALL THE POLICE FOR YOU, when you receive a text from the Notifier D8840 you decide what to do or who to call. Since the messages are by cell phone they can not be stopped by cutting your phone service wire which is easily accessed on the outside of your home. Notifier D8840 is not the same as the standard monitoring services sold by alarm companies, Notifier D8840 does not support the communication formats that central monitoring stations use, Notifier D8840 is NOT used to call a monitoring service, Instead the Phonaza Notifier D8840 will text you, (and 3 others), directly. Some users cancel their current monitoring and save money. Phonaza Notifier D8840 will easily attach to any alarm that has a siren/bell output, car alarms too! Also Phonaza Notifier D8840 can be used without an alarm panel by connecting a window, door or motion contact to the input. Once purchased, you own your unit and have no recurring payments to Phonaza, only a phone service payment to the cell phone service provider of your choice. One of the better deals at the moment are the Prepaid phone plans from T-Mobile which are as low as $3.00 a month and cover the first 30 texts each month, then 10 cents a text after that. Phonaza is not affiliated with any cell service providers so check the current deals in your area. This app works with all cell phone providers and on most Android phones. The Notifier D8840 app requires a PCB interface board connected by blue tooth to operate. A single zone model "Notifier D LTE" is available for those not needing multiple inputs or relays.
