Qibla Compass or Qibla Direction Finder is a Smart Phone app that helps you find the exact and accurate direction of Qibla ( Kaaba , Mecca ) at your location.

The Qiblah in Makkah (Mecca) is the direction a Muslim faces when praying. If you are on a remote location and find it difficult to identify the Qibla direction to say your prayers, This App will automatically find it based on your current location. Qiblah Direction will be based on your current location. It will use built in compass to locate Qiblah.

A handy app to know the direction that should be faced during prayer. It tells you the direction which points towards the Kaaba in Mecca.

If you are at a place where you don't know the direction of Kaaba and you have to offer prayer, use this app to easily find the Qiblah. For example, if you are on a journey and it's the time for prayer. But you don't know where you should face for praying. You will not only need it before praying but also while slaughtering your animal, because the head of that animal is also aligned with the Qiblah. Moreover, after death, Muslims are buried with their heads turned towards the Qiblah.

You don't need to have access to the internet. It just uses gps to tell you the direction.

Please note that this app also uses the magnetometer of your device for processing. Your device MUST have magnetometer in order to find the direction. If your device does not have magnetometer, this app will just give you the angle of Kaaba with respect to true north and your distance from Kaaba. You can then use that angle to find Qiblah.

This application uses both google maps method and classic compass method. So it is too easy to solve the Qibla angle with this app.

In our algortihm we measure also world deviaton. We get latest deviation calculation from NOAA National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) of US. internet is required calculation.

Outside of Europe Middle East Region (EMEA) internet is compulsory for correct compass calculation due to the deviation of our planet.

Muslim prayers may use this compass algortihm with their android phones and tablets. We are working hard to support all location.

Using gps sensors it is possible to calculate the correct qibla angle especially for Europe and Middle East, but outside of this places are recommended to use google maps algorith or may use predefined city records.
