Welcome to Country Capitals! The goal of the app is to help you memorize the country capitals of the world through fun, quick, multiple-choice games. A map of each region allows you to reference the country location for help, or to help you learn where exactly each country is in the world.

Untimed mode allows you to guess a certain number of countries, up to the whole world, with no limit on the time it takes you to guess them. However, there is a time bonus if you finish extra early. You're assumed to take about 4 seconds to answer each question, so for each second you are better than this average you earn an extra 3 points. Example: Answering 10 questions should take you around 40 seconds, so if you do it in 30 you beat the average by 10 seconds and get 30 extra points.

Timed mode gives you a certain amount of time to make your guesses, so you're racing against the clock! You get 2 extra points per question answered, so it pays off to answer as quickly as possible!
