CHS IT

The CHS-IT system and app is a proactive online solution to help implement, monitor and enforce the Construction Regulations in real-time, across multiple Construction sites conveniently from your any smart device or personal computer. Some of the benefits of the CHS-IT system is: Ease of use, Time saving, Convenient, Accessible form any smart device, Real-time monitoring and reporting, Recording of Health and Safety Audit information, Storing of the health and safety documentation, Automated audit reports and Monitoring of contractor compliance in real-time. The CHS-IT system has an online automated Work Permit and Construction Notification, allowing you to submit these to the Department of Labour electronically thus saving you time and money. The system is a secured cloud based system making accessibility to your information relatively quick and ease, and in times when you do not have access to the cloud due to poor or limited internet access information will be stored in the CHS-IT App that works in conjunction with the online cloud based system. The CHS-IT system is multi-user bases, allowing for more than one safety officer or user engaging with the system at anyone point in time.

In line with the Construction Regulations requirements of undertaking a Periodic health and safety audits at least once every 30 days, the CHS-IT system at a predetermined time of the month records the health and safety activities of the site. In doing this the system produces a monthly Certificate of Audit with respective score ratings which can be used to track one’s health and safety performance throughout the duration of the project.

The CHS-IT system has a third party external audit function built into the systems which allows for a five percent of all sites using the system to be possible be selected for an audit, on a month to month basis. The intention of the audit(s) undertaken by an industry trained health and safety officerS(s), would be to provide information/guidance base on the audit, to the Construction Manager and or Client about the conformance of the site or lack thereof in terms of the construction regulations. The thinking behind the external audits taking place is that as an Industry we must be proactive and reactive to health and safety.
