Identify hazards to better assess risks

Classifindex provides additional information to your suppliers' documents. This tool allows you to quickly identify the hazards of chemicals from the elements on the label or on the safety data sheet.

Create and enrich your cards

From your research, you generate and save a summary sheet of all information collected on a product. You personalize your card by adding a comment (CAS number, protective equipment, storage location ...) or by inserting photos.

Export and exploit your listings

A function allows you to send your card by email. It will include as an attachment the pictograms concerned, any photos you have associated, as well as a version of the content in CSV format, usable on spreadsheet. Use your records to, for example, perform hazard mapping, identify hazardous products or inform users.

View the labeling elements of the CLP Regulation

By listing most of the labeling elements of the CLP Regulation (pictograms, hazard statements, classes and categories), Classifindex is a resource resource on the new classification of chemicals.

The publisher

The chemical risk prevention unit is a unit of the CNRS Institute of Chemistry. It provides scientific and technical support to the organization and the chemical sector.

Its objectives are the protection of human health from dangerous products and chemical safety. Its activities meet the needs of the scientific community, prevention actors, public bodies, industrialists and the general public.
