This picturesque Bed & Breakfast in North Devon was originally the gamekeeper’s cottage on the Stucley estate; situated down a quiet country lane and just a couple of miles outside the ancient market town and fishing port of Bideford.

A paradise for nature lovers, nestled in 30 acres of fields, countryside and woodland with stunning views across the valley & river Torridge. Lovely woodland walks down to the river from the house where estuary and salt marsh loving birds thrive.

A charming old cottage with a wealth of character; large family kitchen with Aga, terrace overlooking the river where breakfast/tea can be taken in the summer. Private guests’ dining room, and sitting room with TV, books & games plus a music room with grand piano.

Delicious breakfasts using fresh, locally sourced products. We cater for all sizes of appetite, tastes and dietary needs. Extensive off road parking, secure storage of bikes/surf boards/golfing equipment plus washing, cleaning and drying facilities.
