The app relies on it's users to register their bikes and therefore make them their own. In case a bike gets stolen, the owner needs to mark it as such in the app so that potential second hand buyers can see that it was stolen from him. If the user decides to share his contact details with the Cycletome users, people can contact him in case they stumble upon the stolen bike.
