"Charitable Daily" is an Android application, providing the public a simple and efficient channel to access the information of the approved charitable fund-raising activities. It would extract from data made available by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the “Government”) at http://www.gov.hk/Data.One/ (“Data.One”).

This application consider a smooth user experience as the focus. It would list out as five categories fundraising activities, including the "On-street Selling For Fund-Raising Purpose", "Flag Day", "General Charitable Fund-Raising Activity", "Lottery (Obtained Approval For Selling On Public Streets)", "Lottery (Not Obtained Approval For Selling On Public Streets)". The approved activities over the next three months from the day will be provided and shown in detail. The application will be designed to integrate with the Android system, provide map, search, and sharing to other social applications.

This application will provide "Follow List", the user can also mark the fund-raising activities as "Followed" for easy access in the future.

In addition, users can also search for charitable institutions and trusts of a public character, which are exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
