1 Bank of America Center opened in June 2010. The 30-story office tower is located on the corner of 5th and College Streets. The tower’s environmental features and state-of-the-art technology are designed to increase associate satisfaction and productivity.

The tower is connected to the 146-room The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte by the Urban Garden. The Urban Garden, an indoor glass atrium filled with live vegetation that serves as an informal meeting space for Bank of America associates and tower tenants. Two new sky bridges serve as pedestrian walkways over College Street connecting the Urban Garden to Founders Hall.
