Bharat Ratna C.Subramaniam Centenary Library - NGM College, Pollachi, Coimbatore

Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Centenary Library of NGM College is named after Shri C. Subramaniam, former union minister of finance, who had keen interest in the establishment of the College. It was instituted along with the institution in the year, 1957. It is situated in the eastern part of the sprawling campus facing west. The Central Library aims at enhancing readership and encourage the research and academic activities in the College by rendering information service to all kind of users. The library is a central facility in the college and is fully automated with OPAC (online Public Access Catalogue) system. The Library has a stock of more than 60,000 books, including 52,000 titles and a supply of 63 journals and 45 magazines. CD/DVDs, e-journals, on-line database and audio-video cassettes are also available for reference.

DELNET (Developing Library Network)

The Library has been one of the Member libraries of Delnet since 2000. Delnet maintains an online union catalogue of Books, E-Journals and other non book materials available in 1017 Member Libraries.Delnet offer any book or any reading materials available in the databases to the Members of College Library through its Inter library loan Document Delivery Services

CD ROMS

CD ROM has provided new dimension to information storage. The Library has 1400 CDs on various subjects.

Computer Systems with Internet facility have been provided to use DELNET, CDS in a separate Hall.
