Assess the age of human hearing.
- The range of frequencies that human can hear is known as 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
- As humans get older, they don\'t hear the high notes first because they get damaged by the high frequency of the hair cells in the cochlea that transmit the frequency of sound to the brain.
- Also, repeatedly listening to loud music can lead to hearing loss.
- This app uses these characteristics to evaluate hearing ages from 1 to 100.
- For accurate testing, the equipment (speakers, earphones, headsets) must be able to represent frequencies.
