Ashtavakra Gita is a dialogue between King Janaka and Sage Ashtavakra.

Humble Suggestion: Never try to interpret the scriptures on your own, do it in the guidance of a real saint!

It speaks about Advaitha Vedanta, bondage and self realisation. It emphasises on the superiority of the Indwelling Atma to the frailties of the human body and its afflictions as symbolised by Ashtavakra.

It deals with good and evil, self and non self, visible and invisible worlds, soul and God. It stresses on being simple, principles of love and forgiveness and virtues of perseverance and one pointedness. King Janaka is also considered as the exemplary disciple as he had the qualities of self enquiry and surrender
