The HomDoc app allows patients to create accounts and schedule virtual meetings with a general practitioner or specialist. Users can pay an annual subscription fee or pay per visit. The app allows users to choose to see the earliest available doctor or book an appointment with a doctor for a specific date and time. Users can choose to have an audio or video conversation with a doctor. Subscribers can add family members who are under 18 years of age. Users must enable location services to help recommend nearby pharmacies and labs. Location services also allow the app to customize the interface to the user’s location since the app will be available in a few countries. Patients will be able to upload lab reports, x-rays, photos, and other medical reports. They can also view and download prescriptions. There is a chat feature that allows users to chat with a doctor during an audio or video call. There is a separate medical practitioners' interface that allows doctors to log in and have consultations with patients. Patients can view doctors’ ratings and credentials and choose from a list of available doctors. All doctors on the platform will have their credentials reviewed and approved before they are allowed to see patients. Additionally, patients can rate their experience with each doctor after consultation and leave a review. All communications on the platform are confidential and secure.
