Where's that firetruck going, Phoenix? Find out with Active EMS!

Where's that firetruck going? With Active EMS Phoenix for Tablets, now you can find out! (phone version coming soon)

Rewritten from the ground up, this new FREE version of Active EMS is better than ever. The new interface faithfully reproduces the Phoenix Fire Department's public facing CAD page, but still maintains the mapping, traffic cam and alerting functionality of the original paid version. Details of each feature are listed below.

Incident Display: All active incidents (minus calls that are not available to the public) are displayed with the assigned radio channel, location of the incident, nature code of the incident and the units assigned. Each unit is color coded to indicate their status, so you'll know which units are enroute, onscene, command, and so on.

Built in Google Maps Viewer: No Google maps installed? No problem! Active EMS is no longer dependent on having Google Maps installed on your device. Simply click on the location to view a map of the incident. For freeway calls, click on the location to view the ADOT traffic camera page where you can view the incident in real time. When you're done, simply click your device's Back button to return to the incident list.

Custom Alerts: By default, Active EMS will alert you whenever a BC or higher is assigned to a call. However, you can customize the alerts by specifying unit numbers, locations or keywords separated by a semi-colon. As an example specifying PI3;SDC;NDC;C957 as your Alert Settings will alert you whenever any of these units are assigned to a call.

Alerts On or Off: Don't want to be bothered with alerts while the app is running? Simply click the Alerts button to turn this feature on or off whenever you desire. Active EMS will remember this and all it's settings next time you run it.

Display Lock: Using ActiveEMS on your desk at work or in your car? No problem, simply click the Display Lock button to keep the display from dimming or going to sleep. (Please Note: This feature does not work on all devices. You may need to manually adjust this in your device's Display Settings instead).

Refresh Button: You can now force a refresh of incident data any time with a click of the Refresh button. This will also retrigger any alerts that are still active.

Best of all: Active EMS is now 100% FREE to use! If you like the app, please rate it and recommend it to your friends! If you don't like it or encounter a bug, please contact me before leaving a rating so I have a chance to make it right for you.

Thanks for downloading Active EMS Phoenix!
