The Qur'an is meant by the pronoun ‘bihi’ mentioned in the verse. (Mazhari). Staying awake with the recitation of the Qur'an means praying. That is why night prayers are called tahajjud prayers in the terminology of Shariah. This is usually taken to mean that the prayers that are offered after going to sleep for a while are the prayers of Tahajjud. Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘The best of all the supererogatory prayers after the obligatory prayers is the Tahajjud prayer, that is, the night prayer.’ (Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasai) Instructed. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who are clothed, stand up for the night prayer except for a few parts.” (Surat al-Muzammil: 1-2) Priyonabi was not instructed to pray for some time but to stay up all night except for some part of the night. Among those who can go to Paradise without it is a class of people who perform the Tahajjud prayers with care. This prayer has been urged in various suras of the Qur'an. Therefore, after the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Companions, the saints and the scholars of all ages, including the Tabi'i, the Tabi'i, spent the night in the Tahajjud prayers. Tahajjud prayers can be recited from 2 to 12 rak'ats. Minimum 2 rak'ats and maximum 12 rak'ats. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite 8 rak'ahs of Tahajjud. So it is better to recite 8 rak'ats of Tahajjud. However, it is not necessary to read. If possible, perform 12 rak'ats of tahajjud. However, it is better to perform 8 rak'ats. If it is not possible to perform 4 rak'ats. If that is not possible, then it is better to perform tahajjud even if it is 2 rak'ats. However, there is no qaza of tahajjud prayers.
