কবরের আযাব কত কঠিন

Every creature must taste death. '(Surah Al-Imran, Ayat: 185)

‘Kullu nafsing jhaikbatul maut’ means (every creature in the world) must taste death. ’This is the declaration of Allah. So much for all the living creatures in the world.

One thing I would like to remind the Muslim Ummah is that the life of this world is not the end for man, but the path of eternal life in the Hereafter will begin only after this fleeting life of this world.

Praise be to Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Living. May peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, the greatest man of creation, his family and all the Companions.

Upon receiving this book about Baryakhi's life, I was thrilled that since such books are not commonly available, the public cannot know much about this invisible life. Even in the minds of many scholars, the web of doubt often begins to weave, so that it is heard that there is no such thing as the ‘torment of the grave’. But there are many verses of the Qur'an and many saheeh hadeeths which prove that there is torment in the grave.

There are several stages in human life: the life of this world, the life of Baryakhi and the permanent life of the Hereafter. In Baryakhi life, people will enjoy peace as an atonement for their deeds. And this is the school of the Salaf.

I think my work will be worthwhile, even if the readers benefit a little from this book I have translated. I am eternally grateful to all those who have assisted me in publishing this book.

Finally, my point is that the task of translating from Arabic to another language is not easy and the task of correction can never be finalized. Because it expresses the thoughts of others in their own language. Therefore, if any mistake is noticed by the readers while reading the book or if there is any proposal to correct it, it will be considered, Insha Allah. O Allah, accept this small effort of mine.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, the Lord of the universe, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Lord of the Day of Resurrection. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who was sent down as a mercy on earth, and may Allaah's blessings be upon his family, companions and followers until the Day of Resurrection.

Then there is a discussion about the life of Baryakhi and some of the masalas related to the punishment and peace of the grave. I have created it as a guide (inspection and advice) for liberation in the hereafter, which I have prepared to broadcast from the Quran on the radio in Saudi Arabia. Then some scholars requested that the discussions broadcast on the radio be published in a book. I have chosen this discussion in response to their call, leaving out other topics in the hope that it will remind the soul of the advice of the heart and the return to Allah, and I think it is suitable for reading in the Friday sermons and gatherings.

Finally, I seek tawfiq from Allah Ta'ala to guide us to the right path and to save me, my parents, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters and all Muslim brothers and sisters from the severe punishment on the Day of Resurrection.
