Create your own vocabulary list. Use your device to read your vocabulary list.

Create your own vocabulary lists and use this app to read your vocabulary words and sentences using your device text-to-speech engine. This app was designed to help students who have difficulty pronouncing words and slow at memorizing new words.

If you are learning a foreign language, you can also use this app to help you learn how to pronounce foreign words. Before your device can read a foreign language, you need to download the right text-to-speech engine. I recommend using Google Text-to-Speech app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tts). Google Text-to-Speech supports the following languages: Dutch, English (India), English (United Kingdom), English (United States), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (United States).

How to use this App:

1. Viewing Sample Vocabulary List

When you download and open this app, a dialog box appears, asking you if you want to download 3 sample vocabulary lists. Download the sample vocabulary lists, select one of the 3 lists, and press the View button to view the list. Press the speaker icon on the right of the word, and your device will read the word.

Note: Sample vocabulary list allows you to test this app without creating your own vocabulary list. You will receive a dialog box requesting you to download sample vocabulary lists if there are no vocabulary lists stored on your device.

2. Creating New Vocabulary List

a. Create an Account

You must create an account at (micropolytech.com/vocablist/wp-login.php?action=register) before you can create your own vocabulary lists.

b. Create a List

Select Edit List from the menu. Create your list from Create New List table. You are required to enter a list name. List description is optional. You can also create lists from this app. Press “Download vocabulary lists to device” button on the main screen. Once you sign in, you will see a list of vocabulary lists. Below the list is the create New List button.

Note: It is easier and quicker to create your vocabulary lists using the website (micropolytech.com/vocablist/edit-list/).

c. Add Words to Vocabulary List

Select Edit Word from the menu. Select a list from the drop-down menu. Enter a word then press Add. You can also give your word a type (noun, verb adjective), definition and example. You can add words to list using this app. Press “Download vocabulary lists to device” button on the main screen. Once you sign in, select a list, and then press add Word.

Note: It is easier and quicker to add your words to your vocabulary lists using the website (micropolytech.com/vocablist/edit-word/).

3. Downloading your Vocabulary Lists to Device

Press “Download vocabulary lists to device” button on the main screen. Once you sign in, select a list, and then press “Save to Device” button on the top right corner. Give your list a name then press Save. You can view your list from the Main Page.

Additional Information

This app allows you create up to 20 vocabulary lists. Each list can up hold up to 20 words. Your vocab lists are stored on a server; therefore, you can download your vocabulary lists on multiple devices.
