A quick way for you to get the FTMC 16.1 player App

IF YOUR DEVICE IS RUNNING ON ANDROID 4.4 WE ADVISE THAT YOU UNINSTALL KODI 16.1 AND INSTALL THE NEW FTMC APP.

Freaktab.com has created a fork of Kodi Jarvis 16.1 for Android, called FTMC 25. I have downloaded and installed this new version of Kodi and installed the Smart TV build V5.3 build on to my device that is currently running Android 4.4 and checked out just how much difference it makes to your HD streams. YES! it really does improve the streaming capabilities of your setup . I will explain how to install FTMC onto your Android device shortly; it has been tweaked with some of the code from Kodi 17.1 and SPMC 16.6 so that android devices running android 4.4 can have the same working experience as if you were running Kodi Krypton 17.1. So let’s have a look at installing FTMC 25.

First of you will need to remove all versions of Kodi on your system or you will not be able to install the FTMC player due to it sharing the same folder (org.xbmc.kodi), if you are a bit more tech savvy you can create a new folder for it by renaming it to org.xbmc.kodiold, you can then uninstall Kodi 16.1 and then install the FTMC App. Once the App is installed do not run it at this point if you have renamed your Kodi folder just rename it back to org.xbmc.kodi or run the Kodi/FTMC setup wizard and then run the FTMC app.

There are two App choices depending on your type of box if unsure there are plenty of apps like CPU Z that will assist in identifying your hardware.
