 as you level up

- A leaderboard that tracks your progress against that of your friends and neighbors

Simply open up UrbanMatter, enter the type of place you'd like to visit (i.e. 'Italian Restaurants,' 'Dive Bars,' 'Coffee Shops'), select the Matters pins that are most important to you, and watch our map populate with all the criteria-matched locations in your area. It's that easy!

Thanks to our authentic, user-driven reviews, UrbanMatter curates the real opinions of locals to guide you toward the best hotspots around Chicago. Once you've found a location you like – or really dislike – you can let others know by:

- Giving a star rating

- And even attaching photos!
