About uCrypt

English

Simple messaging app, allows you to encrypt texts with your own private key

uCrypt: Your privacy is in your hands.

uCrypt is a simple messaging app, that allows you to encrypt your texts with your own private key.

What does it mean?

uCrypt uses password-based AES encryption (like protected WiFi) for messaging encryption.

No internet servers or third party key owners are involved. So you can transfer your “password” offline (which is recommended). It makes your messaging immune to Man In The Middle internet attacks, which are intercept your security keys while connection initialize and makes the exchange of messages unsafe.

It also uses GSM SMS transport as default. GSM traffic is much more secure than the Internet. It is much more resistant to interception. But if you want, you can use any other transport.

Just copy text to another application, such as email or other instant messenger.

Notes:

This is not your average messenger. To avoid keeping private information, we only save your password and pin encrypted hash-sums.

That's all. No messages or contact data keeping. Everything is generating from your SMS, that's why interface may look weird for you.
