TravelVu helps you describe your travel patterns

TravelVu is a new way to collect data for travel surveys based on collection of GPS data through smartphones. This new method allows the collection of new types of data, and offers better trip precision compared to traditional survey methods.

Using TravelVu you can follow your daily trips and activities. The app provides you with an overview of your trips during the day and how long distance you have travelled with different modes per day/week/month. The app is available in English, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.

To use the app, you need an invitation for a survey to participate in.

The app use GPS in the background while you are moving which has an impact on battery usage. In order to conserve battery while you are stationary, TravelVu will use the accelerometer to detect when you start to move again.

If you have a Samsung or Huawei for example you need to make changes to your system settings so that TravelVu is allowed to run in background or it will limit the quality of the collected data. You can find instructions on our support website: https://support.travelvu.app .
