Easily survey people's preferences using the Q's unique graphical voting system

The Q is a free social polling and preference-ranking app that enables its users to easily create and distribute graphical spiral voting grids - aka "queues" - to friends and associates, or to its wider user community. It automatically tallies the resulting votes and provides users (both the voter and the queue's creator) with up-to-date results via graphical reports.

A queue consists of a spirally ordered set of up to 9 movable tiles and an associated question or other instructions. Each movable tile (or "qube") contains either an image (with or without a subtitle/description) or text, set into the queue's sequentially numbered background grid. Users vote by first rearranging (dragging and dropping) a queue's tiles/qubes into their preferred order and then pushing the queue's vote button to securely lock in their vote. Queues may appear on a user's feed or be retrieved from the Explore area or from user profiles.

Queue "creators" can import, crop, and edit individual qube images from their camera (either singly or in rapid succession from within the queue-creation interface), from their camera roll/picture library, or from the web (using the Q's built-in browser and screen capture tools). Once the desired number of image or text tiles have been imported a queue's creator can rearrange its qubes into a desired presentation order before 'publishing' the queue to its intended recipients.

Optionally, queue creators can include an uploaded coupon with their queue as an incentive or reward for voting on their queue. Any coupon 'earned' in this way is saved into a user's Activity area for easy retrieval.

The Q's publicly visible queue collection can be searched or browsed randomly in the Explore area. Users can also track individual queues to review their ongoing, updated voting results.

Q users can also earn credits/points by creating and voting on queues and by attracting followers and queue-trackers. These accrued points may be used to 'purchase' optional demographically-targeted queues. Any particular combination of user demographics and interests (together with available sample size) depends on the number of Q users who voluntarily 'opt-in' to this optional area of the Q - by providing some or all of their demographic and interest information via their Profile's Opt-in feature. (Users who opt-in and provide this additional information receive monthly points bonuses while opted-in.)

You might just use the Q as a fun new way to poll your friends and to explore new and emerging trends and attitudes through the Q's engaging new interface. Or you might use the Q to float new ideas to the public. If you get ambitious, you might decide to opt-in and use the Q, together with other Q community members, as a new tool for the crowd sourcing of public opinion polling.
