The Clueless Guide was created for average people like you and me who wanted to get outside and explore but didn’t know where or what we could do. Tired of looking up hikes that only deal in stats and altitudes?

Long lived the days of the hiking books. Let’s face it, no one actually brings their books out in the nature with them. We all bring our phones though! With the offline features that are available, adventurers will be set no matter which mountain they are on! Tech is the future, why not bring it into our future adventures.

Every adventure that is in this guide has been completed by The Clueless Guide personally. This gives you real-time information that can be updated when necessary. Being the fact that it is a subscription app, this means that every month new features are being added. This gives you your first guide that actually has adventures for all seasons without having to purchase or download a separate product!

The Clueless Guide: Alberta Adventures is not just made for hikes though as you can tell from the promo video! It is waaaaay more than that. It is broken up into 7 sections. Allow me:

1 - ROADY TUNES - Each app comes with a free built in radio player that allows them to keep updated with the hottest road tripping music! This is also a prime safety feature for those that adventure alone and need some background noise to let animals know they are nearby.

2 - TAKE A HIKE - Whether you are looking to climb to the top of a mountain, gaze at a roaring waterfall, or simply take a walk through the foothills; this will be your guide this summer! Built in are all the adventure hot-spots Alberta has including; Canmore, Kananaskis, Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper, Waterton, and even The Badlands! With new hikes being added monthly, there is a new adventure waiting for you every weekend!

3 - WILDFLOWER DICTIONARY - Have you ever come across a plant or berry in the wild and wondered; What is it? Is it edible? What can it be used for? Well then this section is for you! This section launches with 140 species of wildflowers, plants, berries, and fungi!

4 - THE HAROLD FOUNDATION RESEARCH LAB - With every app subscription, partial proceeds are donated to help clean up wetlands and Alberta hiking trails. This section of the app shows you what we are doing and it also is an encyclopedia for wildlife! Creature Feature within this panel is created much like the wildflower section. All images in it were donated by local photographers who want to make a difference for the environment.

5 - GEAR TALK - This section talks about hiking gear essentials and must-have items. It is filled with articles and exclusive discounts that only subscribers can get access to.

6 - NEED TO KNOW - This section is safety at it’s finest and one of the main reasons proving to you that The Clueless Guide: Alberta Adventures is the future of adventure! Do you know what to do when you run into a bear or cougar? Do you know who to call if you need help? Do you know the rules of the parks or campgrounds? No? Then this section is for you!

7 - That Sounds Fun! - Looking for something more to do in Alberta besides hiking? Visit this section and I will tell you the top choices for day, Weekend, and even night adventures! This section also gets updated on a monthly basis and includes things such as; zoos, tours, eats, attractions, must-visit destinations, campgrounds, hotels, and more!
