A multidimensional institution with a shared purpose. Slam Jam was born as a clothing distribution company serving the Italian underground in 1989. Based in Ferrara, Italy, and operating as a rebel organization outside of the European fashion establishment, it pioneered the new market segment now known as streetwear before it even had a name.
