Mission Son Swavlamban aims to improve the socio-economic status of the district by empowering women. It is in line with the vision of humble Prime Minister of India to rapidly transform the inspirational districts

Through this mission e not only intend to provide skill based training to marginalized women but also use innovative convergence with various schemes to provide a market linkage and ensure sustainable livelihood opportunity. Son bazaar is one of the ways to market these products made by these women.
