2. Precision Nutrient Management Strategy: It provides the farmer guidance for optimum nitrogen-based fertilizer application for top dressing crops, based on the vegetation zoning. The vegetation zoning is determined on the basis of the latest canopy nitrogen content data from satellite imagery, crop stage, and type. The optimized use of fertilizer will help reduce nitrogen leaching as well as anthropogenic GHG emissions. It will ultimately aid in financial and health benefits to the farmers.
