PanoCam

PanoCam (Panorama Camera) Could make your mobile phone into a panoramic camera.

PanoCam is free aplication, developed as part of Bachelor's Thesis, created by Marek Valouch for the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) at Brno University of Technology (VUT).

Work is protected by copyright law and its use without authorization by the author is illegal, except law defined cases.

This application is based on OPENCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) http://opencv.org/

Panoramas can be easily created in a few seconds with a double tap. Put your device in any orientation (landscape is better), tap the panorama button and move your phone slowly and steadily where do you want. Once done capturing (taped panorama button again), the frames will be stitched into one awesome panorama automatically.

When shooting nature, camera optics rarely allow to capture complete landscape in it's beauty, not just chopping off small piece.

Indoor use it's rarely possible to move far enough to cover the space completely. A number of frames has to be taken.
