The update continues to offer the expected assortment of tweaks to weapon customization, along with adjustments to in-game balance, topped off with the launch of a fresh survivor pass.
With the 2023 December update, PUBG New State's map Erangel receives a captivating makeover as the Erangel Aurora phenomenon blankets the night sky in radiant, ethereal hues. This arctic spectacle, exclusive to the Erangel map, is set to enchant players by conjuring the wild beauty of polar winters. The in-game aurora, akin to its natural counterpart, will appear intermittently, potentially adding to the wonder mid-battle.
The Erangel Aurora in New State Mobile isn't just a visual treat—it demands players to adopt a more tactical approach. Triumphing beneath its glow rewards an extra 50% bonus in tier points, but a defeat could cost players an additional 20% on their tier points loss. Currently, New State Mobile's weather features are in their early stages, and developer Krafton plans to expand upon these, taking into account player reactions to the aurora.
As 2023 draws to a close, we reach the 26th edition of the Survivor Pass, starring Sentry as its lead character. Players can acquire this character for free by advancing to a specified level.
