The highly anticipated weekend for Niantic's Pokémon Go, the Pokémon Go Fest 2023, is almost here. This year, there will be exciting in-person events held in Osaka and London from August 4th to 6th. Unfortunately, tickets for these events are already sold out. However, players can still participate in the Glittering Garden event to obtain some exclusive Pokémon available only during this time.
Next week, the much-anticipated Pokémon Go Fest 2023 will be happening. However, even if you are not able to attend in person, you can still participate in the Glittering Garden event which is available worldwide. This event allows players to catch certain Grass and Fairy-type Pokémon from the Osaka and London events. So, trainers who couldn't get tickets for the main festival can still enjoy this opportunity.
The festival will take place from August 5th to 8th, ending at 8:00 pm local time. However, not all the special Pokémon will be available as it would spoil the fun of the event. Trainers can expect to find Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Ferroseed and Dedenne in their natural habitats during this time. The most exciting Pokémon to watch out for is Shiny Petilil, who will be making her first appearance at this event.
Because the event is connected to Pokémon Go Fest, there will be many unique pokémon found in park areas. These include Petilil, Cacnea, and Oddish, each appearing on different days. Moreover, players can enjoy various bonuses during Glittering Garden. Buddies will earn hearts in half the usual distance, and hatching pokémon will reward 1.5 times more Candy and Stardust along with a chance of receiving extra Candy XL as well.
In addition, the event will also include specific tasks from Timed Research and Field Research. These tasks will reward you with similar Pokémon upon completion.
