Diablo Immortal rolls out its 2024 Roadmap, signaling the Dawn of Chaos where new terrifying demons invade Sanctuary. The updates coming this year promise the introduction of a never-before-seen Class in the Diablo series, celebrate the game's second-year milestone with bountiful rewards, and present two major quests challenging players to face the ultimate evil: Diablo himself. The onset of the Dawn of Chaos is marked by the much-anticipated update, Precipice of Horror, bringing formidable challenges for players to triumph over.

Diablo Immortal Unveils Its Roadmap for 2024
Sinister forces of darkness gather beyond the blood-tinted horizons, offering up formidable trials that the bravest must overcome. Heroes are invited to take up the mantle of a new Class within the world of Diablo, celebrate our second anniversary with rich rewards, and embark on dual principal missions to face the fearsome Lord of Terror. In parallel, the Era of Disintegration brings a suite of rigorous in-game experiences rejuvenating the endgame, with the promise of mighty Eternal Equipment for those who triumph. These sneak peeks are just the beginning of what we have in store.
The Precipice of Horror Brings New Terror Rift Challenges
Sanctuary now trembles with the emergence of Terror Rifts, which ephemerally appear twice daily: once from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. server time. In a trio of random zones, gateways to these ominous Rifts appear for fleeting 20-minute periods. Brave adventurers daring to pass through these gateways will face off against a legion of formidable beasts. By vanquishing these creatures, players can collect Stygian Fragments. Accumulating these fragments allows players to invoke the mighty Stygian Spire, calling forth a powerful boss entity to battle. Those who manage to overcome this fearsome foe can reap rich rewards, including the sought-after Terror Essence.
Holders of Terror Essence are then eligible to test their mettle in the supreme challenge known as the Oblivion Pillars. These structures are situated in proximity to Terror Rifts and are exclusively accessible to those engaged in Inferno Difficulty I level or above. Heroes who withstand the ferocious barrage of enhanced monsters within will have the chance to earn Eternal Equipment along with other precious prizes.
Hellslayer Challenges Launch in Diablo Immortal's Latest Update
Hellslayer Challenges now welcome both individual warriors and groups, starting from the fiery gates of Inferno Difficulty I. Players can bring together four active Bounties by offering a single Terror Essence at the Bounty Board, transforming them into a formidable Hellslayer Challenge. Completion of these challenges not only furthers progress within the Codex but also yields treasure chests with a chance to contain the coveted Eternal Equipment.
This new tier of gear, Eternal Equipment, stands as a testament to both its scarcity and unmatched power in the realm of Sanctuary. These rare items can only be found within the depths of Terror Rifts, the enigmatic Oblivion Pillars, and the treacherous Hellslayer Challenges. They are notable for possessing three inherent Attributes and a quartet of Magic Affixes. Alongside, the introduction of 56 new Affixes provides a surge of excitement, especially for those items with 1-3 Magic Affixes unearthed from the perilous journeys within Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars, and Hellslayer Challenges.
